Here's a quick overview of recent events:

  • Birth registrations - click here or call 01274 432151 for an appointment.
  • SEND Parent/Carer’s Coffee Morning - a place for parent carers to share experiences and get support. Email chaslam@carersresource.org or call 0808 501593 for more information.
  • Baby and Midwife Clinics - including Clover midwife clinic. Appointment only; speak to your health visitor or midwife.
  • Well Baby/Weighing Clinic - For an appointment, call the Health Visiting service on 01274 221223 or text chat health on 07312263240.
  • School Nurse Team - Support with eating, lifestyles, relationships, sleep & more. Drop in/call 01274221203.
  • Baby Feeding drop-ins - friendly and experienced infant feeding specialists are here to support you with questions or concerns as well as every day feeding support. Breast pumps are available to borrow if you've seen a practitioner and there's a need identified.
  • Maternity Circle - drop in, we run a wide range of sessions to support pregnant mums and those with children under 2.
  • Parent and carer panel - help to improve the services in the Bradford district for all parents/carers by coming to our parent and carer panel. Please ask us for more information.
  • Stay and Play - Session for pre school children and parents/carers offering the chance to socialise and play.
  • Education drop-in - A session for parents and carers of children aged 5 to 16 providing non-judgmental support with school attendance concerns. It's a safe space for you to discuss worries, connect with support services, and receive advice from attendance support workers. Email Attendance@bradford.gov.uk with queries.
  • Kid's Time Workshop - parents with mental illness and children to work together in dispelling stigma and building stronger families. The children can be 0-19 yrs as we will run drama groups for younger ones and Teen talk for teens as well as an adult group.
  • Children's Community Support Team - supporting families with children with SEND needs in Bradford East.
  • Well Baby/Weighing Clinic - For an appointment, call the Health Visiting service on 01274 221223 or text chat health on 07312263240.
  • Family Navigator drop-in - speak to our friendly family navigators, we can welcome you into our Family Hub, find groups and activities and signpost to services and support.
  • Marketplace Event - come and connect with teams offering support and advice around mental health, debt, benefits, social prescribing, youth services, parenting, living well, Green doctor, skills and work and more.

  • Women’s chit chat group – drop-in for a warm drink, chat and peer support.
  • Sensory play room – a therapeutic space, perfect for children with SEND. Call us to book.
  • Clothes shack – a free drop-in clothes recycle shop.
  • Job Club (City Library) - free work clubs to learn IT skills, create/update your CV, look for jobs and more.
  • Baby feeding support sessions - infant feeding practitioners with specialist support available. Breast pumps available to borrow if you've seen a practitioner and a need is identified.
  • Study Stations - Now bookable through reception for everyone to use as a quiet space to work.
  • Bradford Stronger Together Coffee Morning - A relaxing time for parents of children who have additional needs.
  • Farcliffe Bookable Read and Rhyme Room - bookable by the hour for families to enjoy reading with their children.
  • Legal Support - Free family law advice. Call us to book.
  • Carer's Resource Coffee Morning - Drop in session for families for those with SEND.

  • Bookable Outdoor Play Area - Our secure outdoor play area is bookable by ringing us on 01274 436700 Monday through to Friday. This can be used 1-1 or in a small group up to 10 people.
  • Millside maternity circle - a safe space for all to come along and connect with one another, reduce social isolation and to be supported on their parenting journey. Just drop in.
  • Stay and Play - Please ring 01274 436700 to book a space on to our stay and play sessions which are for pre-school age children in which they can enjoy fun times. Spaces limited.
  • Education drop-in - drop-in session for parents/ carers of children 5 to 16. Support with school attendance concerns. Discuss worries, connect with support and get advice. Email Attendance@bradford.gov.uk with any queries.
  • Mind the Gap session - contact rachel@mind-the-gap.org.uk 
  • Bumps and babies - A safe space for pregnant women and new parent/carers with babies to share stories and make friends.
  • Cuppa in the Community - Welcoming space for all to have a warm drink and have a chat with our family navigators to see where we can support and signpost to appropriate services.
  • Ready to Learn in Reception - ensure your child has a great start to their learning journey. We're sharing tips and advice so your child can get dressed, go to the toilet, eat with utensils, listen to the teacher, feel confident and happy and more. Call 01274 221203 to make an appointment.

  • Coffee mornings - access support for a range of needs, free Wi-Fi, laptops you can use whilst in the building, play activities for young children and access to our Sensory Space.
  • Baby Circles - Grab a cuppa, connect with other pregnant women/new parents and seek wider support all whilst relaxing and enjoying a wide range of wellbeing and self-care activities. Babies 0-2 welcome. Call us for more information.
  • Infant feeding support drop-in - the Community Infant Feeding Team offer friendly, warm and specialist support, including social support from volunteers. We provide support with all
    breastfeeding and other feeding situations, whatever the age of your baby.
  • Play and learn - for children 0-5. No need to book, come play along with your children and make new friends.
    Community drop-in - family navigators available to support you with all things family hub and signpost you to services to support your family, from cost of living to SEND services.
  • C-card scheme - supporting young People aged 13 to 24 to access FREE contraception, information and advice. Drop in to the hubs to sign up and access in a safe, confidential space.
  • Tea Time Club - Come and join in the fun at our free teatime club!!Games, craft and a light tea included. Children can also use our Chromebooks and free Wi-Fi to complete homework. We have digital champions available to help if needed

  • Play and learn – our free sessions open to all families with children 0-5. Enjoy fun activities songs and stories as well as tips to support your child's wellbeing and development.
  • Baby feeding support sessions - The Community Infant Feeding Team offer friendly, warm and specialist support, including social support from volunteers. We provide support with all breastfeeding and other feeding situations, whatever the age of your baby.

  • Parent Led SEND play - for families with children aged 6-11. Please call us for more information.
  • Maternity Circle - offer a safe and welcoming space in a community environment. Come to one of our sessions and meet other pregnant women, new mums and babies. We'll provide information around maternal health wellbeing and parenting as well as the wider support available from other services (baby weighing available).
  • SEND Parent-led support - meet other parent carers in a safe, welcoming space, share experiences and get support.
  • Education drop-in - for parents and carers of children 5 to 16 which provides non-judgmental support with school attendance concerns. It's a safe space for you to discuss worries, connect with support services, and receive advice from attendance support workers.   • Open Access Youth Group - A busy interactive youth club session, where young people can play pool, table tennis, sports, get involved in arts and crafts, group discussions, music and cooking.
  • SEND Toilet Training Workshop - children with SEND may take longer to achieve toilet training and need more support. The SEND/School Nursing Team can help. Booking essential; email sendtoilettraining@bdct.nhs.uk or ask at the hub for information.
  • SEND 'Life admin' - A friendly, parent-led drop-in session for families with a child with SEND. Helping you work through paperwork, forms and admin - with a cuppa and a chat.
