On this page, you'll find the latest details of what's on at our family hubs.

Although we try hard to make sure everything on these pages and timetables is accurate, details of events can sometimes change at short notice. There might be cancellations because of, for example, bad weather or other emergencies. So if you're making a special trip, you might want to check with the hub or with the organisers beforehand.

Here's a quick overview of recent events and parenting programmes: 

Play and Learn - space for you and your child to learn together and have fun! Just drop in.

Story and Rhyme - fun, interactive story, craft and rhyme session for 0-3s. Call Sumiyya on 01274 730415 or 07519414464 to book.

Baby Steps - A friendly group for parents-to-be to meet and get emotional and practical support.

Sensory Room - a therapeutic space for all families devoted to relaxing and developing the senses. Call us to book (one hour slots).

SEND Parent/Carer’s Coffee Morning - a place for parent carers to share experiences and get support. Email chaslam@carersresource.org or call 0808 015939 for more information.

Health Visitor, Baby and Midwife Clinics - including Clover midwife clinic. Appointment only; speak to your health visitor or midwife.

BHT Owlets Play Group - A friendly Stay and Play for children 18 months to 3 years whose parents/carers who would like support to develop their child’s language skills through play. Call BHT on 01274 730415 for more info and to book a place.

Wise Owls - If you have concerns about your child 18 months to 4 years of age, come and chat with our friendly language development workers. Available at playgroups;for further info call 01274 730415.

Barkerend Buddies - Messy play for 0-4s

Jump Aboard - drop-in sessions with an educational psychologist.

Portage group - an education group for under 5s with additional needs and their families supported by experienced Portage home visitors.

Skills House - career advice, skills and training, job and apprenticeship search.

SEND Community Support Team - here for you to chat about difficulties you may have with your child/young person's behaviours/sleep difficulties

Baby Feeding Support Sessions - run every week by friendly experienced infant feeding practitioners with specialist support available. Any questions or concerns can be supported as well as every day feeding support.  Breast pumps are available to borrow if you have seen a practitioner and there is a need identified. Please do just drop in, no booking needed. We look forward to seeing you.

Maternity Circle - drop in, we run a wide range of sessions to support pregnant mums and those with children under 2.

Talking Teens - positive parenting and relationship building for parents and carers of children aged 11-18. Covers understanding your teen, managing conflict, communicating and more.

Family Links Nurturing Programme - supporting positive parenting, encouraging emotional health and exploring the emotional needs behind behaviour. For parents and carers of children aged 3-12.

Drug and Alcohol awareness - an online course for parents and carers to increase their understanding and get support.

Family Links Nurturing – supporting positive parenting and exploring emotional needs behind behaviour. For parents/carers of 2-13s.

Talking Teens - positive parenting and relationship building for parents and carers of children aged 11-18. Covers managing conflict,communicating and more.

Who’s in Charge - Parents and primary carers who care for children aged 8 to 18 years of age, who are abusive or violent towards them or who appear out of parental control.

Time out for dads - helping dads build a better relationship with their children.

Incredible Years pre-school - Promotes positive children’s social, emotional, and language development through praise and encouragement

Drug and alcohol awareness - are you concerned about your child/young person using substances or alcohol? Book onto our online course by emailing claire.priestman@bradford.gov.uk 

Mums, bumps and babies - a safe space for pregnant and new mums with babies to meet, share stories, make friends and learn about our Start for Life programmes! Tea, coffee and baby facilities available!

Jump Aboard educational psychologist - Free Consultation on topics such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs,learning difficulties, social emotional and sensory needs, EHC assessments and EHCPs.

Coffee mornings - Free coffee morning with surplus food available. Support available around return to work, finance,mental health, housing and much more.

Baby Circles - grab a cuppa, connect with other pregnant women, seek wider support all whilst relaxing and enjoying a wide range of wellbeing and self-care activities.

Community drop-in - family navigators available to support you with all things family hub and signpost you to services to support your family, from cost of living to SEND services.

TFD open access support - via TFD library - free Wi-Fi,phone charging, access to computers, printing, support for digital access,support from family navigators, community connect support,emergency food parcels, tea and coffee.

Sensory Space Sessions - Our new sensory space is now open for families to book. It's a wonderful space with light/sound and textures for children and babies to explore. If you would like to book a slot please contact the family hub.

St Vincent's Advice - to book an appointment please call St Vincent's directly on 01274 731909

EBSA Parent Support - Emotionally Based School Avoidance - for parent carers of children with attendance issues linked to mental health difficulties. 4 week course; call 01274439444 for more details and dates.

C-card scheme - supporting Young People aged 13 to 24 to access FREE contraception, information and advice. Drop in to the hubs to sign up to the scheme and access in a safe and confidential space.

Locala - sexual health drop-in

Warm space session - All welcome to keep warm, play games, enjoy crafts and free tea, coffee and soup.

SEND inclusive drop-in - open to all parents,carers and their children. Includes multi-sensory story time & access to SEND resources to promote speech, language & sensory exploration. Youth Club – for ages 11-19. A warm, safe and inviting space for young people with lots of activities on offer.

Wise Owls Language development advice - if you’re concerned about your 18m-4 year old’s language development come get advice from our language development workers. Parent Led SEND play - for families with children aged 6-11. Places are limited so please book your place by calling us. Cliffe Castle SEND event - please get in touch with Rainbow family hub for more details and to book.

Baby Clinic - drop in to get your baby weighed

Maternity Circle - offer a safe and welcoming space in a community environment. Come along to one of our sessions and meet other pregnant women, new mums and babies. We will provide information around maternal health, wellbeing and parenting as well as the wider support available from other local services (baby weighing available).

Children's Community Support Team - appointment based support for families with children and young people with SEND. Referral only; contact Kelly on 07582109892 or Naina on 07582101003 for more information.

Arts and crafts group - For adults and children aged 0-4.

SEND Parent-led support - meet with other parent carers in a safe, welcoming space to share experiences and get support.
