Play and Learn - space for you and your child to learn together and have fun! Just drop in.

Story and Rhyme - fun, interactive story, craft and rhyme session for 0-3s. Call Sumiyya on 01274 730415 or 07519414464 to book.

Baby Steps - A friendly group for parents-to-be to meet and get emotional and practical support.

Sensory Room - a therapeutic space for all families devoted to relaxing and developing the senses. Call us to book (one hour slots).

SEND Parent/Carer’s Coffee Morning - a place for parent carers to share experiences and get support. Email chaslam@carersresource.org or call 0808 015939 for more information.

Health Visitor, Baby and Midwife Clinics - including Clover midwife clinic. Appointment only; speak to your health visitor or midwife.

BHT Owlets Play Group - A friendly Stay and Play for children 18 months to 3 years whose parents/carers who would like support to develop their child’s language skills through play. Call BHT on 01274 730415 for more info and to book a place.

Wise Owls - If you have concerns about your child 18 months to 4 years of age, come and chat with our friendly language development workers. Available at playgroups;for further info call 01274 730415.

Barkerend Buddies - Messy play for 0-4s

Jump Aboard - drop-in sessions with an educational psychologist.

Portage group - an education group for under 5s with additional needs and their families supported by experienced Portage home visitors.

Skills House - career advice, skills and training, job and apprenticeship search.

SEND Community Support Team - here for you to chat about difficulties you may have with your child/young person's behaviours/sleep difficulties

Infant Feeding Group - drop in if you have any questions about feeding your baby. Meet other families and join us for a drink or a snack. Run by midwives and breastfeeding support workers.

Baby feeding drop-in - access support from our breastfeeding support team, peer support volunteers and infant feeding specialists.

Homework stations - Now bookable through reception for everyone to use as a quiet space to catch up on work.

Family Links Nurturing – supporting positive parenting and exploring emotional needs behind behaviour. For parents/carers of children 2-13.

Talking Teens - positive parenting and relationship building for parents and carers of children aged 11-18. Covers managing conflict,communicating and more.

Who’s in Charge - Parents and primary carers who care for children aged 8 to 18 years of age, who are abusive or violent towards them or who appear out of parental control.

Time out for dads - helping dads build a better relationship with their children.

Jump Aboard educational psychologist - Free Consultation on topics such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs,learning difficulties, social emotional and sensory needs, EHC(education, health and care) assessments and EHCPs (education,health & care plan).

Coffee mornings - Free coffee morning with surplus food available. Support available around return to work, finance,mental health, housing and much more.

Wise Owls - language development drop-in for parents/carers of children 18m-4y. Available at playgroups; for info call 01274730415.

Baby Circles - CALLING ALL PREGNANT WOMEN. Grab a cuppa, connect with other pregnant women,seek wider support all whilst relaxing and enjoying a wide range of wellbeing and self-care activities.

Baby feeding drop-in - here to support you throughout your baby feeding journey. We're at the hub weekly to offer full feeding assessments and advice on feeding your baby. If clinically needed,we do have a Breast Pump Loan service which enables you to express your own milk to give to your baby and keep up your milk supply. Please come along and visit us for more details.

Play and learn - for children 0-5. No need to book, come play along with your children and make new friends.

Community drop-in - family navigators available to support you with all things family hub and signpost you to services to support your family, from cost of living to SEND services.
Baby and Toddler Reading and Rhymes - Free Baby and toddler Reading and Rhyme session. Come along & enjoy the newly refurbished library at TFD Centre. Free book packs to take away.

Digital resource centre - at TFD library - Free Wi-Fi, phone charging, access to computers, printing,support for digital access,support from family navigators, community connect support,emergency food parcels, tea and coffee.

Family Fun Day - School Holiday sessions for all families - Fun day with support from local partners. Come along with the kids and join in fun and games all free activities.

SEND event - a variety of services available to discuss support for parents, young people and children with additional needs.

Adil work coach - returning to work or training? Adil can offer help with benefit advice, free early education and childcare,debt and money matters, returning to jobs, training and education and more. 07557548727 to make an appointment.

Health and wellbeing event - Support and advice about yours or your child's health, accessing the dentist, weight and more. A variety of services will be available. Free drinks and snacks.

Careers and apprenticeships event - Thinking about your career? Not sure what you want to do after school or college? Come along to our free event to find out more about local careers and employers, apprenticeships and training providers.

Play and learn – our free play and learn sessions are open to all families with children 0-5. Enjoy fun activities songs and stories as well as tips to support your child's wellbeing and development at home.

School nurse parent drop-in – help with eating,lifestyles,relationships, emotions, body changes,growing up, sleeping and more. If you can’t come but still need help, call the school
nurses: 01274 221203.

Baby feeding drop-ins - experienced peer supporters lead this friendly group. Pregnancy, parenting and breastfeeding support and information; meet other parents. Email
breastfeedtogether@bdct.nhs.uk to book.

Sensory room – Call or email us to book sessions at Rainbow. For sessions at Strong Close Nursery (Term Time) call 01535 605272. During school holidays contact Rainbow. For Owlets call 01274 436600.

SEND inclusive drop-in sessions - open to all parents,carers and their children. Includes multi sensory story time and access to a range of SEND resources to promote speech,language and sensory exploration.

Youth Club – for ages 11-19. A warm, safe and inviting space for young people with lots of activities on offer.

Wise Owls Language development advice drop-in - if you’re concerned about your 18m to 4 year old’s language development come get advice from our language development workers.

Parent Led SEND play - A parent-led play session for SEND, for families with children aged 6-11. Places are limited so please book your place by calling us.

Jump aboard - talk through concerns and how to support your child with an educational psychologist. Can help with autism,ADHD, speech & language,learning difficulties, social,emotional and sensory needs.

Baby Clinic - drop in to get your baby weighed

Maternity Circle - a safe and welcoming space for women planning pregnancy, pregnant women and new mothers,providing information on maternal health and wellbeing and parenting until baby is 2.
