Parent and carer panels

Are you currently expecting a baby?

Do you have young children?

If so, we would love for you to be a part of our Parent and Carer Panels.

We need your help to improve the services in the Bradford district for all parents/carers - from pregnancy, during those really important early years. getting children ready for school and beyond.

Your voice will help us to:

  • provide the best for you and your family
  • shape the services offered through our Family Hubs and Best Start in Life Local plan

Who else will be part of the panel?

We want to encourage all mums, dads, carers, grandparents, kinship carers but especially those that are pregnant or have young children. This is because we are working on our Best Start in Life offer.

We want to hear from a diverse group of parents and carers to ensure we listen to all voices in the community.

What will we talk about?

We want to listen to local parents and carers about the services on offer, where they are delivered, how well they work and what we could do better.

Panel members can take part in activities such as focus groups and surveys as part of this.

What support will be available?

We want to enable a wide range of people to take part, so we will discuss with you what you need to join us. A few examples of what we can offer include:

  • a welcoming space for all members, including children
  • local face to face panels across the district.
  • an offer to access panels virtually.
  • refreshments will be provided at all face to face meetings.

We will support with any other accessibility needs to enable you to fully participate in meetings/training.
