Userway - How to use the site's Accessibility Features
What is Userway?
Userway is an accessibility tool that allows the user to make changes to the site to help with accessibility. This includes options such as:
- increasing the size of the text
- increasing text spacing
- changing the text font to a font that is Dyslexia Friendly
- colour contrasting
- increasing the size of the mouse cursor
- increasing line height
- aligning text
- saturation options
To access Userway, click on the blue circle at the bottom left of the screen.
After clicking on this circle, you will see the following widget pop-up on your screen:
You can increase the size of this widget by clicking the 'Oversized Widget slider to 'On'
Clicking on the 'How Userway Works' button, will take you to the Userway website:
You can reset any accessibility options you have chosen by clicking the 'Reset All Accessibility Settings' button
To use any of the Userway features, you just need to click on the option you want to use!
Userway includes the following features:
This gives the user the option to change the colour contrast on the site. There are 3 options to choose from:
- inverted colours
- dark contrast colours
- light contrast colours
Selecting this will highlight all the links on the page.
This allows the user to increase the size of the text. There are 4 options to choose from.
This allows the user to increase the spacing between the text. There are 3 options to choose from.
This allows a user to pause all animations.
This allows the user to change the text font to a font which is Dyslexia Friendly. There are 2 options:
- Dyslexia Friendly
- Legible Fonts
This allows the user to increase the size of their cursor on the screen.
This allows the user to enable tooltips.
This allows the user to increase the line height. There are 3 options to choose from:
This allows the user to align all text. There are 4 options to choose from:
- Align left
- Align right
- Align centre
This gives the user the option to change the saturation on the site. There are 3 options to choose from:
- Low Saturation
- High Saturation
