Get Online Week 2024

Come along to your local Family Hub and try out our new laptops!

During Get Online Week (14th to 20th October) we are hosting a drop-in event in each of our Family Hub areas where you can come along, use one of our laptops and receive free support to get online.

In a world where everything is digital, we want to be able to offer you a helping hand if for any reason using the internet, using IT equipment, or getting online is difficult for you.

We can offer support on:

  • Using the laptops
  • Creating an email account
  • Accessing information online
  • Secondary school applications
  • Accessing In Our Place, a new, free, online library for family support and emotional wellbeing
  • Support with other things which are accessed digitally such as filling in online forms

Your local family hub also has access to free WiFi on your own device during opening hours, and free Data Sim cards to give you free mobile data if you need it.
