Locala C-Card Training for Professionals
This online training course is to enable professionals to promote and deliver the Bradford C-Card Condom Distribution Scheme.
The training equips professionals with the knowledge to provide information and support around sexual health to young people aged 13 to 24 years, helping them to make informed choices and improve access to contraception.
Objectives:
- To develop an understanding of the Bradford C-Card Scheme process and to be able to deliver C-Card interventions
- To be able to register young people onto the C-Card scheme, which includes using the C-Card database
- To increase awareness of the types and variety of condoms, dams, femidoms, lube and other products available through the scheme
- To acquire relevant information about Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and the screening process
- Increase participants knowledge of sexual health services and online testing to allow them to support young people to access these
