Vaping workshops for schools and community settings
Step 2 can offer workshops to staff and young people to increase their understanding of vaping.
Workshops will look at:
- The reasons people might choose to vape.
- Some of the potential consequences of vaping.
- The marketing techniques used by vaping companies and how they target younger people.
- Understanding the potential additional risk of self mix or counterfeit vape products.
- Exploring the environmental impacts of vaping.
Gambling workshops for schools and community settings
Did you know that 105,000 children in the UK are addicted to gambling or at severe risk of becoming so?
Fact: Every day in the UK someone takes their life because of gambling.
Step 2 can offer workshops to staff and young people to increase their understanding of gaming and gambling.
Workshops will look at:
- How gambling has developed over time.
- The links between gaming and gambling,
- Who the real winners are.
- Gambling harms and how they develop.
- Help for those that are experiencing gambling harms.
Young people health/relationship training for Foster Carers
Are you a foster carer? If so, Step 2 can support you with training on a range of topics that may affect the children and young people in your care. Step 2 have run workshops on topics such as:
