Pages for young people
Here's a collection of pages that might be of interest to you; we'll be updating this list and these pages in the next few weeks so please come back and visit us again soon:
Relationships Matter to Young People - if people in your home are arguing all the time or struggling to cope it can be hard to know what to do. You can't control what your family does but there are ways to get support.
Disability Living Allowance (for under 16s) and Personal Independence Payment (for 16+) - may help you or your carer/parent with the extra costs of looking after you if you have mobility needs (difficulties getting around), care needs, or both.
Local Alcohol and Drugs support for Young People
Inourplace online courses for teenagers: Understanding Your Brain and Understanding Your Feelings. These usually cost £8.50 each but are FREE if you use our code BDPARENTS when signing up.
Support for young carers - support for young carers aged 18 or under who help look after a relative who has a condition, such as a disability, illness, mental health condition, or who misuse drugs or alcohol.
Family Hub timetables - find out what's going on at our busy family hubs.
Bradford Council's Local Offer service gives children and young people (from new born to age 25) with special educational needs and/ or disabilities (SEND), and their parents or carers information about what activities, services and support is available across education, health and social care in the area where they live.
