As soon as you find out you're pregnant

As soon as you find out you are pregnant it is really important to see a GP or a midwife, so you can have all the information, advice and screening tests as early as possible. The first 12 weeks of your pregnancy are the most important time in your baby’s development.

You can contact a midwife by:

  • Visiting your GP who will arrange a referral.

  • Contact Bradford Maternity Services by completing a self-referral

  • Contact Airedale Maternity Services on 01535 292411 or 01535 292412. They are available Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
