CP5 Maternity Circle at Laisterdyke Library

From pregnancy to age 2.

The Perinatal Support Service are delivering a weekly Maternity Circle in the CP5 area of Bradford - This covers Bowling, Bradford Moor and Barkerend. 

The Maternity Circle is a drop in session that runs EVERY Tuesday between 09:30-11:30.

It is targeted to new and expectant mums and the Circle - which will ‘open the door, to access more’ will provide access to support services, health advice, and wellbeing support for pregnant mums and mums with children up to the age of two.

 

The Circle will provide lots of advice and sharing of information, and high-quality input from different services within the maternity system, locally and across Bradford. We have weekly input from guest speakers and in house and provide educative opportunities, alongside offering wellbeing activities, baby weigh, parent-infant relationship information and message delivery about Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. 

We have linked midwives and a link health visitor on board to offer advice, host Q & A sessions and for us to tune into to best support the Mums in attendance. 

We are above anything else, warm, welcoming, friendly, and non-judgemental, a safe space for all to come along and connect with one another, reduce social isolation and to be supported on their parenting journey. 

Our maternity circle offers a woman-centred, welcoming and safe space where Mums can access support. We provide expectant Mums and Mums with babies up to age 2 with opportuinities to connect with others, seek advice and receive support around healthy living and their parenting journey.
