29% Festival
We are the 29%
29% Festival is a FREE festival for young people in Bradford, celebrating the talent and ambition of the young people in our community as well as encouraging young people from across our district to gather together for a weekend of unmissable events!
Friday 28th November 5pm – 9pm
Chill, chat, create, sing & dance along to an iconic film and eat cute snacks.
An evening is for girls, young women and people of other marginalised identities. Recharge your batteries and connect with other young creatives in a safe and inspiring space.
Sign up to zine making, creative writing or dance workshops. Reflect on how you can use your voice to make a difference in your community! Get glammed up with your friends and sing the night away at our Eat Along Bollywood film experience with free food from Sonia Sandhu!
Saturday 29th November 12pm – 8pm
We’re not joking there is something for everyone! Our youth board has programmed three floors of activity: gaming, new writing, make-up and modelling workshops, a rap battle, boxing, a bassline rave, craft workshops, live music, afrobeats and a glamorous cabaret featuring drag and dance performers. Everyone presenting work is under 25. There will be pancakes too! Featuring headline DJ sets from IFB & Niall M1. Free.
