Life Skills course - Family Action

LifeSkills workshops for participants to build confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to communication skills, overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing and interview skills.

The aim of the LifeSkills programme is to support participants to:

  • Increase confidence and 21st century skills
  • Improve language skills
  • Move closer to training/volunteering/employment
  • Improve social networks
  • Grow in confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals


Course Details

  • The course runs for six weeks
  • You will attend x 1 session a week
  • Each session is 2 hours
  • Sessions will be every Thursday from 12.30 to 2.30pm
  • You will receive a certificate on completion

All participants who complete the course will also receive £10.00 voucher to spend in St Vincent's Social Enterprise Centre - Bradford superstore
