Children's Services Contact Centre

The Children’s Services Contact centre is the first point of contact for all new enquiries, by telephone or by email, from members of the public and other professionals. The team's role is to ensure, from the information obtained, that all calls and enquiries are directed appropriately. They also process all emails on behalf of Children's Services and redirect them to the appropriate office for action. If a case is already allocated to a social worker, the team will ensure that the caller and correspondence is directed to them. If the enquiry is about a case that is not currently open to Children’s Services it will be directed to the Integrated Front Door. Opening times Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 5pm Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm (except public holidays)
