Cancer Support Yorkshire

Cancer Support Yorkshire is a small independent charity providing practical and emotional support to people affected by cancer.

Whether you’re a patient, a family member or carer affected by a cancer diagnosis, we’re here to help when you need us. Offering everything from practical guidance to emotional support, we’ll always welcome and support you.

We understand a cancer diagnosis can create a rollercoaster of emotions. From the financial impact to the emotional and physical effects, we’re here for you throughout.

We offer:

Counselling - by phone, zoom or in person
Groups and classes - meet others in a safe space to create a supportive local community. Some groups are nurse-practitioner led
Complementary therapies - including Aromatherapy, Alexander Technique, Emotional Freedom Technique, Hypnotherapy, Indian Head Massage, Life Coaching, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Massage, Podiatry, Reflexology and Reiki
Image Solutions - Make-up classes and headwear advice
Transport - our team of dedicated volunteer drivers are on hand to take people to cancer related hospital appointments and to appointments at our centres.
