Ivison Trust

Ivison Trust (formerly Pace) is a national charity working to keep children safe from exploitation by supporting their parents, disrupting the offenders and working in partnership with police and family services. We also train professionals to support affected children and their parents using a trauma-informed, family-centric approach.

We have been providing specialist support for parents and carers affected by child exploitation in England and Wales for 25 years.

We provide a range of support services for parents and a full training programme for professionals about how to support families affected by child exploitation.

How we work alongside parents and carers

Our parent support workers provide independent, non-judgmental and confidential support, which fully recognises your rights as a parent and your decisions on how to reduce the risk of harm to your child.

We can talk through your immediate concerns, help you to assess the level of danger your child is in, and signpost you to agencies in your area who may be able to give you local support.

We can also equip you with information for notifying police and social care, and provide practical tips for logging information and gathering evidence. We will never blame you for what is happening to your child and aim to help you find the best solution for your family.

Parent Network Days

Ivison Trust holds Parent Network Days around England to allow parents affected by child exploitation to meet each other and share their experiences. These offer parents the opportunity to share knowledge and create independent support networks.

Parent Forum

Our parent forum is a safe space for parents to connect online, share experiences, coping strategies  and support to keep going when things are difficult. Our forum is available for parents who are receiving support from Ivison Trust.

Parent newsletter

Our quarterly newsletter for affected parents is an opportunity to hear stories and lived experience from other parents and also to hear about the the fantastic campaigning to change policy and affect change that our Open Parent Group are active in.
