Barnardo’s Family Support Service: Prevention and Early Help Service: Family Support

We offer a keyworker service for families living in Bradford & District as part of the districts Targeted Early Help Offer. The service, run in partnership with Bradford Children and Families Trust and Family Hubs, is delivered by a voluntary sector partnership comprising of Barnardo’s, Brathay Trust, JAMES & YMCA Bradford.

Keyworkers support families to achieve some of the following outcomes:

• Good early years development
• Getting a good education
• Keeping children safe from abuse and exploitation
• Improved mental and physical health
• Financial stability and secure housing
• Improved family relationships

This is based on a Family Help Key Worker - one family, one worker, one plan approach, recognising that families and family networks, will often have solutions to their own challenges.
