Barnardos ETS Yorkshire is a training provider delivering a Study Programme for 16-19 year olds

Current course offerings:

Business Admin Support Level 2 & 3 – These courses provide the knowledge and skills required for employment in an Administrative role.

Sport Level 2 & 3 - To work in the active leisure industry, you should be practical, passionate about sport and happy to work indoors and out. Sport-based skills and qualifications are also useful for careers in other fields such as management or sciences.

Childcare Level 1 & 2 – Fully accredited by theDfE and provides practitioners the skills knowledge and behaviour they need to work in a childcare setting.

Health and Social Care Level 1 & 2 – The level 1 & 2 Health and Social care courses are interactive and comprehensive courses which are ideal for those who are wanting to work within the healthcare or social care setting.

Retail Skills – This qualification is for those just starting out in the industry, helping them to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment in the retail industry.

GCSE Maths & English – We can also provide learners with the opportunity to obtain their Maths and English GCSEs

Functional Skills – Maths and English Qualifications more relatable to everyday problem solving.

Employability Skills & Training – Employability skill qualifications are aimed at anyone who wants to progress in education and/or their employment prospects, get in to a job or move on to their next job

"Barnardo’s has delivered employment, training and skills support for over 35 years to young people aged 14 to 29 years. Whether you’ve just left school or are making your first move to get into training please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss the programmes and courses best suited to meet your needs.

All our programmes provide high levels of personal support alongside vocational and employability skills, and maths and English support where required.

The young person is at the centre of everything we do.

We work with over 300 small, medium and large employers across England and Scotland covering a range of occupational areas and providing work experience, Apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

In addition, we work closely with a range of other organisations who provide specialist support and additional skills training."
