Community Dental Services

We offer a high-quality service for people who are unable to access dental treatment by a ‘high street’ NHS dentist due to their additional needs. Our staff have expertise in the care, management and understanding of people with learning disabilities, challenging medical conditions and people who are housebound. We provide general dental treatment such as fillings, x-rays, cleaning and extractions. For those patients with additional needs, if required, we can also offer treatment with sedation or in hospital under general anaesthetic. In addition to our clinics within the community we also have a mobile dental unit and can support people in their homes, if they are housebound. We have specialist equipment such as adapted dental chairs, hoists and transfer aids to support people who have mobility issues.
