St Vincent's Centre Bradford

St Vincent's Centre provide a variety of different services to help reduce the effects of poverty on local people and to promote social interaction.

Our Community Shop sells a range of clothes and accessories, furniture and other household items, kitchen appliances, toys, books, CD's and a range of bric-a-brac at affordable prices, and the funds raised help us to keep providing support and advice to those who need us the most.

We run the store with a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time to give a warm welcome to all and keep our shop running and regularly host events for the local community, giving people the opportunity to socialise and celebrate.

Our Community Learning and Development programme teaches people skills to increase their social inclusion and active citizenship. You will get to learn at your own pace in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with the support of our dedicated tutors.

We offer a wide variety of learning opportunities:

  • ESOL classes (from Beginner to Entry Level 1, 2 & 3)
  • Life in the UK
  • Basic IT skills
  • Work Club
  • B1 English in the UK classes

We also offer a range of social groups including a wellbeing workshop for men and women, a sewing club where you can develop your sewing skills or learn from scratch and women’s stress massage classes.

All our classes are FREE - our timetable is:

Our Community Garden is a great place for volunteers to build their tactile skills whilst planting numerous kinds of vegetation which can later be used within the café.

We also offer debt, housing, benefits and migration advice/support via outreach sessions to residents of Bradford South.  Click here to download the sessions calendar including postcode areas served, locations and how to book.
