Fostering Bradford

Fostering happens when children are unable to live with their birth parents or family.

This can be for a whole variety of reasons. Sometimes they may have experienced abuse, neglect or a parent may become ill and unable to care for their child.

In these situations, children or young people will be cared for by local council services who will help to find a temporary or permanent new home with a foster carer.

Could you foster?

You'd give vulnerable children from Bradford a safe environment to grow and learn, helping to improve their confidence and happiness one day at a time.

Depending on the child’s individual circumstances, you may provide care for a couple of days, a few years or until adulthood.

If you have a spare bedroom in your home, are over 21, speak, read and write English to a good standard and love looking after and caring for children, we want to hear from you.
