Disability Action Yorkshire Education and Training Centre

Disability Action Yorkshire deliver a wide range of programmes, qualifications and training, bespoke to the individual. We are an accredited centre for both ASDAN and NCFE awarding bodies, and as such, we offer qualifications that give you the skills for learning, life and employment. We offer a range of both accredited and non-accredited courses. Our current Accredited courses are provided by either NCFE or ASDAN and are detailed below: NCFE Functional Skills Mathematics NCFE Functional Skills English ASDAN Employability ASDAN Personal and Social Development We also provide many other courses in different subjects which you will be able to access when enrolled at the centre- such as employment skills, wellness and wellbeing, ICT and Art. Please get in touch with the training department for more information about courses available to you. We believe that everyone has the right to work and know that gaining paid employment can be difficult for some disabled people. Our Training Service offers development in all of the skills required to gain paid employment or life skills. We don’t just leave you after the training programme – we can continue to provide support in achieving your aspirations whether that be in the workplace or life in general. Even when you feel you no longer need our support we are still here for you.
