Anyone who's ever searched for a job would say that it's one of the hardest things they've done.  From finding suitable vacancies, completing applications good enough to secure an interview, to performing well in front of prospective employers and getting that job!

SkillsHouse can support you in lots of ways:

Learner

SkillsHouse offers support to learners of all ages across the District.

Do you need help to choose a course or advice on different pathways?  Are you a parent/carer and want to support a young person? We have fully qualified advisers who can support you to make decisions, discover what options are available and to make plans for the future.

Got a health barrier and looking for work?

The SkillsHouse Connect to Work employment programme might be for you.

This is a programme funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). It's designed to help people in the Bradford district who have a disability, health condition or other barriers to find and keep work.

If you are accepted onto the programme you will be given an Employment Specialist Adviser, who will meet with you to help you find a job.
