Community Hub - BCFC Community Foundation

Our community Hub is a space that is an ever-growing aspect of the foundation where we build upon what we already have in place and look at what the issues are within Bradford, what the community wants and needs and how we can best accommodate this. We also look to identify other organisations and work with them to bring to life their ideas for sessions and groups, below are some examples of this. We are open as a Café during the week and matchdays as well as having the space and meeting room available to rent out.

Friendship café - A weekly group that helps combat loneliness and low mood but also we have take the time to tailor this to be as dementia friendly as possible

Food truck/ bank - Working with partners to bring a free food provision to those within Bradford who need it. We offer a warm safe space where they can get a food parcel and also a hot meal and drink. We have plans to build on this to provide other services so as to help the people who come to us in a more long term way.

GCSE revision - Working with tutors from the University of Bradford to supply additional help for those taking there Maths and English GCSE this year. We provide a warm meal to ensure they have sustenance to better help them to learn.
